Develop AI-powered internal tools, workflow automations, intelligent search systems, and LLM-integrated product features.
Design and implement prompt architectures, RAG pipelines, structured output systems, and context-aware AI workflows.
Integrate APIs, async services, databases, and cloud infrastructure into reliable production systems.
Own features end-to-end — architecture, development, deployment, monitoring, debugging, and iteration.
Use AI coding assistants to accelerate development velocity while maintaining code quality and accountability for shipped systems.
Collaborate closely with product, operations, and business teams to identify inefficiencies and build practical AI-driven solutions.
Research and evaluate emerging AI models, frameworks, and developer tooling relevant to Abacus Digital’s products and infrastructure.
Contribute reusable engineering infrastructure including internal tooling, prompt libraries, developer workflows, and documentation.
Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue.
Backend development experience with Node.js and/or Python.
Experience building and deploying production-grade full stack applications.
Familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, prompt engineering, RAG workflows, and AI automation systems.
Strong understanding of APIs, async systems, databases, and scalable architectures.
Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and deployment workflows.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with a systematic engineering mindset.
Understanding of how to use AI to significantly improve engineering speed without compromising reliability.
